January 2021 Monthly Craft Report

I’m a little late this month, but here’s the January 2021 Monthly Craft Report!

What I finished

Read my January 2021 plan here.

The only project I finished is part of my Christmas Advent stocking project. I did as much as I could without the blue yarn I ran out of. With only 3 stockings left I’m practically done. I know I said I had 3 left last time, but that was how many I had left that I needed for this past Christmas season.

When I thought about finishing the stockings I found myself melancholy about it. I’ve grown rather fond of them. I think I’ll be making more of them as tree ornaments or other decorations, too.

Another thing I finished was my efforts to re-arrange my patterns. The way I was storing them they were getting knocked over and spilled a lot. So I put them back into page protectors in binders again. Between this organization shift and my project planning sheet, I’m probably going to end up with a post about project organization soon.

February 2021 plan

February is the shortest month of the year, but that’s no reason to aim low. I think I’m going to pick the same goals as last month, but I’ll change up the projects this time.

I’m cheating a bit because I’ve already started working on projects for this month. I’ve finished half of a pair of the slipper boots. Only 3 boots to go!

Current projects

  • Christmas stockings (the 3 left of the advent batch)
  • Slipper boots x2
  • as many hats, scarves, and gloves as I can
  • Moogly CAL 1, 2, 3, 4 squares from any year including 2021

Month goals

  • Personal: 6 to 10 projects
  • Blog: 3 projects

How many projects did you finish in January? What are your goals for February?
