I managed to get some crafting in despite the heat. I did have some trouble finding time to craft toward the end of the month.
What I finished
Baby Rings Temperature Blanket
I finished the temperature blanket I previewed in this post. This was for our youngest daughter’s pregnancy. She’s 6 now. Yeah, it took me way too long.

Progress I made
Knowing what I worked on was made way easier with my Field Notes. For the continuing projects you can find more details like yarns, etc. in previous reports’ posts.
Frabjous Fibers Shawl
I got 20 to 30 rows done on this shawl. (I don’t really feel like adding up all my tallies.)

Budding Romance Shawl
Disappointingly, I was only able to knit 1 row on this shawl.

Teenage Kicks Socks
I finished 1 sock and I’m to the heel on the other. For some reason the heel looks different than the others I’ve done up to this point. I’ve done this pattern several times, for clarification.

Bubble Bathmat
I got 2 rows done on this project. The hook this pattern calls for is much larger than I’m used to using. I restrict myself to only crocheting 1 row a day so I don’t strain my hand.

Projects I started
Tempo Venko (I love yarn day yarn)
I tore out some yoga socks I was making with some yarn my husband randomly bought me one time. Instead I decided I would rather use the yarn to make a small shawl. I finished several rows. The starting rows are pretty short so the project is still rather small.

Plan for August 2025
I’ll keep working on the projects I’ve made progress on. Plus I have a Moogly sweater and my Moogly CAL (crochet along) squares to work on. I’d also like to get some of my sewing projects worked on.

To wrap things up, last month I’d ended up with more active projects than I should’ve because I’d built up more projects I could do without paying attention to it plus starting some to try to finish them by our county fair. So this month I’ll work on finishing projects to get back down to my acceptable amount of active projects.
