Your temperature blanket guide from dream to woven in ends

February 2026 Monthly Craft Report

I missed my January craft report, so this report will include December and January’s crafting.  I really didn’t get much crafting done in December.  I’m glad I was able to get more crafting time in January.

What I finished

December:

Just some sample squares for a possible 2026 temperature blanket.  I didn’t leave them in.

January:

I finished some slipper socks for our penultimate daughter.

Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver Ombre in

Pattern: Repeat Crafter Me’s Kids Crochet Slipper Socks

Mostly blue socks on a wood plank background with Stitching in the Woods logo in the corner

Progress I made

December:

One of my temperature blankets (a new pattern) and my Frabjous Fibers Shawl were both worked on.

January:

I finished the main part of the blanket for the new pattern temperature blanket and started on the border.  I also worked on my granny square temperature blanket.

Frabjous Faded Shawl, Mindfulness Cowl, Phillis & Marilyn washcloth (free pattern but an affiliate link)

New projects I started

The only project I started was the slipper socks mentioned above that I finished.

Plan for February 2026

I’m working pretty diligently on getting more temperature blanket patterns available for everyone.  It’s also a pretty big priority of mine to clean out some of my past projects.  Having so many waiting projects wears on me at times.
