If you want to try out the corner-to-corner stitch before you try it on a bigger project, then this washcloth is a good place to start. It lets you figure out how to make it work so when you’re doing the bigger project you’ll know better how the stitch works. Yes, you can make a swatch but making a corner-to-corner washcloth is much more practical than that.
If you’d like an easily printable PDF of this pattern, you can purchase one on Ravelry or Gumroad.

Notes
- On increasing rows, it helps to fold down squares you haven’t worked on yet to keep them out of the way.
- At the start of an increase row, be careful to keep your work from turning while you work the chain.
- If you’re wanting a challenge, mix up the colors with different colored rows.
