Welcome!
If you haven’t seen the home page, this website is devoted to temperature blankets. What are those? Well, in general, it’s a day by day recording of each day’s temperatures using certain colors of yarn from a predetermined scale. That may sound intimidating, but it really isn’t when you break it down into smaller bites of information.
That’s why I made this page, to help you find the information you need in more easily digested amounts. My website and I are here to serve you. I understand you may have different needs than another visitor. Below you’ll find headings with questions you might have. Look under the heading of your question and you’ll find links to places for you to learn.
Let’s get started!
So what is a temperature blanket?
My first ever post, Crocheted Temperature Blanket, will help you learn the basics of temperature blankets.
Can you help me plan my temperature blanket?
For those who prefer blog posts, there’s my Demystifying Temperature Blankets series. This is a three part series that walks you through what all the elements needed for your plan are and how to plan them.
I’m in the process of replacing this series with a more detailed one that follows the framework of my e-book mentioned below. Pick the aspect of the blanket that matters most to you and go to that post first. Then come back and do the rest in order of how important the aspect is to you.
For those who prefer emails, there’s my 4 Day Email Course to help you plan your temperature blanket. Every day for 4 days you’ll get an email walking you through each step of the process of planning your blanket.
For those who prefer an e-book, there’s my e-book 5 Easy Steps to Plan your Temperature Blanket. This is a PDF that you can read on your computer or download and print. A more detailed version of my email course, it walks you through planning your blanket. It also has some extra printables you can use as you’re planning.
Where can I find some temperature blanket patterns?
I have a pattern for a basic crocheted temperature blanket that you can buy on Gumroad or you can buy it on Ravelry
Additionally, you can search for temperature patterns.
You can also adapt a regular pattern into a temperature one, like the example I give here.
I don’t see my question addressed.
