Affiliate policy
You will find affiliate links on my blog. These links are from advertisers who have agreed to pay me if you click on their banners or links and buy something on their website. You don’t get charged any extra for buying things through my affiliate links. You can be assured that any affiliate links I post will be from companies and for products that I’ve personally used and would recommend to others.
Advertising
All non-affiliate ads are provided by Google AdSense. I have tried to make sure all the ads appearing on my website are appropriate, but in general I don’t have control over the ads they show. These ads will not have any effect on my content in any way.
Privacy policy
At the moment, the only information I collect is generic information not tied to specific users. This includes information like where a visitor is from or which pages are visited or how a visitor gets to the website. This includes the use of “cookies” which are data collectors that a website connects to your browser. It’s better explained here. (The link is British, but it explains the concept well.) These cookies are used to help improve your web experience by pretty well any website today. Cookie settings can be changed in your browser settings.
If you sign up for blog post notifications I get either your email address or your WordPress user name. If you sign up for my email list I will only keep your email address and first name.
I will never, now or in the future, sell or give away your information to anyone and I won’t use it for nefarious purposes. If I eventually start collecting more detailed information, I will update my privacy policy. I’ll mention now, though, that any information I will collect will only be used to make a better experience on Stitching in the Woods.
