I’ve still been working on my clean queue projects, just not as much as I’d like. Daily life, a custom order, and projects for the blog have also been taking my time. I did finish one project that I added last minute out of need. Progress was also made on a few of the projects. Accountability partners, here is the project I finished and my plans for this month’s projects.
Finished Project
Fingerless Gloves
Pattern: Easy Victorian Mitts on Ravelry
Yarn: Caron Simply Soft (color: I’m guessing lilac but I lost the label long ago)
I added these fingerless gloves because my hands have been getting really cold while I’m trying to crochet. They really warm up my hands, which I appreciate. They worked up really quickly. I took out a few rounds in the middle so they didn’t get too long.
February’s Projects
One thing I changed this month is that I separated the blankets into three categories. The three categories are baby/kids blankets, motif blankets, and stash buster (or catchall) blankets. I plan on working on one blanket in each category at a time. This will help me get more of them done faster. I know I could just work on one blanket at a time and go quicker. My tendency to want to switch between projects when I get bored is part of why I arranged this plan this way.
Otherwise, I’m still doing my four crochet projects, four sewing projects, and one quilt. I’ll count my blankets as one of the four crochet projects only if I’m due to finish it by the end of the month.
Crochet projects:
- Lacy wrap
- Potholder
- Granny motif baby sack
- Bubble wrap baby blanket (baby/kids blanket, all done)
- Rainbow afghan (catchall blanket, partial)
- Crochet Crowd CAL afghan (motif blanket, partial)
Sewing projects:
- Oven mitts
- Kim poncho (supposed to be a Christmas present)
- Katrina Poncho (“)
- Buddy’s work shirt #1
Quilt project:
- Music quilt
