This post is going to cover projects done in August, September, and October. I’ve made a lot of progress for projects for the website. I didn’t get much done on my personal projects, though I did finish some.

What I finished
I finished several washcloths for a post I’m posting later. Once I post that then I’ll link to it here so you can see the picture(s) of it.
I also finished a square for my Moogly CAL blanket inspired by Pokémon colors. Can you guess which Pokémon this is? I haven’t woven in my ends yet, but I’m still going to call it done.
At the beginning of October I finished a pair of Teenage Kicks socks (affiliate link to free pattern) that I made with Felici yarn (affiliate link). This colorway you can’t get anymore but they come out with new sets of colorways a lot. I’m always able to find at least one that I appreciate.
Progress I made
Frabjous Fibers shawl
I’ve recently introduced the 5th out of 8 colors for this shawl. It still feels pretty far from the end, but it’s getting ever closer to being done. (pattern here, not my pattern)
I Love Yarn Day shawl
I didn’t get a lot done on this. It’s some of my oldest yarn in my stash so I’ll be glad to have it done and into use as an actual object. (pattern here, not my pattern)
Blog temperature blanket
I’m working my way through my in progress temperature blankets. The one I’m currently working on will eventually be a pattern that uses the colorway from this post. I’ve finished the main part of the blanket and I’m starting to work on the finishing touches.
New projects I started
I started a hat for a pattern I’m writing, so no pictures there. (Spoiler alert, it’s finished already but I didn’t finish it in October.)
I also started a washcloth like one I’d already made for my husband.
I restarted a couple different projects but I didn’t make any progress on them beyond that. The cowl I’ve only managed to get to the start of the second row.
Plan for November
I’ve severely tweaked my CAR (crafter’s arbitrary rules) system because I felt like I wasn’t getting enough personal projects done. For now I’m working on only one project at a time. I picked my Frabjous Fibers Shawl to be my one project. I’ll still use the system to decide what to work on after that project is done.
I plan to get a lot of work done on projects for you guys here on the website.
